Is it me, or new tracks with those "ultra sick drops" that people seem to be enjoying just aren't melodic anymore and are filled with so much random shit i can't stand listening to it. This on the other hand has some nice vibes to it, is rythmic throughout the entire track. Even though there are some bad old tracks like this, today it is more about 'funky'ness in the track rather than coherent sounds. There are some good new tracks but I really have to dig deep to get myself hands on 3-5 new across the material available on youtbe

From 2006 - 2010, were some of the best years of DnB. Incredible and legendary songs were produced. Big ups to BSE, SoM, Spor, Chris Su, Noisia, The Upbeats, and countless others.

0:38-0:56 is my absolute favorite part of the song. It sends chills down my spine when I've smoked a little and I've got noise-canceling headphones on. Makes me feel like I'm actually "there." "There", being whatever crazy images my mind conjures up in connection with the song. Amazing piece, nonetheless.

it might be out of the movie "aeon flux" its the answer aeon gets from her boss when she recieves her order :) Not sure though, watched the movie in german but it reminded me of this song ;)

This is nice, but it pales in comparison to Royksopp's A Quiet Life. And for the record, Royksopp's version came first- it appeared on the Arctic Circles Compilation in 2001. Dolce Vita is from Blu Mar Ten's 2007 album Black Water. Kinda shameful when you consider that the sample is used in the exact same way, and its pretty much a xeroxed version of Royksopp's beat.
